Dear Dharmajians,
Vande Gujarat,
Finally our Dharmaj has got his own website.
“mydharmaj.com”
Isn’t it matter of pleasure and proud for each and every dharmajians ?
It may be very first of its kind for any small town like Dharmaj. That is too in the Golden Jubilee year of Gujarat. In near future we will add some more details like telephone no.s. blood group and other details of people staying at Dharmaj in B4 dial & Blood Group section.
We are also going to start Blogging on it so site can be interactive. Text will be available in both Gujarati and English language with single click.
We also came up with one more innovative idea. We are creating “mydharmaj” community on web by giving unique email ID to dharmajians. To have your own email ID please send your following details thorugh email to : rajesh.patel@mydharmaj.com

| Dharmaj – A True Rurban of Gujarat |

Rurban is a new word for every one as it is not from English dictionary. Hon’ble Chief Minister and visionary Shri Narendra Modi given this word. As per Mr. Modi’s imagination the villages of Gujarat should be Rurban. Rurban is a combination of two words Rural + Urban. The villages should be equipped with all urban facilities with pollution free rural atmosphere. A role model of Rurban in Gujarat is Dharmaj.
This small town has so many facilities. But dharmajians has the attitude of “Sky is the limit”. On 3rd Dharmaj Day a book about Dharmaj was published. In this book there is given some idea about future Dharmaj. In this chapter it was discuss about walk way around town lake. On 4th Dharma day (12th January 2010) it was publically declared to start for it. Within short period of two months work for the same is started.
Government of Gujarat senctioned fund of Rs. 25 lacs to deepen both pond (village existing pond and hain pond next to it). Excavation work is in full swing to make one big pond. It will become approximately 1 K.M. walk way around this new pond. Water Storage capacity will be increased and problem of water logging of rain water in town will be solved. The project is started by Dharmaj Gham Panchayat and newly formed “ Dharmaj Lake Front Committee” jointly.
In first phase of project work for walk way will be completed. In second and third phase other facilities will be added like Children Park, Garden, Fountains, Am phi Theater, Toy Train etc.
Total project will be cost around Rs. 2 to 2.5 crore. State Govt. has started with handsome amount of Rs. 25 lacs and assured to sanction some more fund under NAREGA scheme. Remaining amount will be raised by public participation. Dharmajians are coming out generously for the same. Given herewith some photos of bhumi pujan, excavation work and proposed plan of “Dharmaj Lake Front Committee”.

- For selected as a Gujarat State BJP executive council member by Shri R. C. Faldu – President, Gujarat State Bharatia Janta Party.
- For nominated as a Telephone Advisory Committee (TAC) member of Nadia Telecom District by Department of Telecommunications, Government of India with recommendation of Hon’ble Member of Parliament (R.S.) and Treasurer Gujarat State BJP Shri Surendrabhai Patel.
